Discover the wild side of the TCI

The Turks and Caicos Islands are predominantlty made out of limestone. Numerous sinkholes, caves, and even blue holes can be found scattered across the landscape as a result. The islands do not have a particularly high elevation or significant land mass within which the caves can develop but never-the-less there are a handful of medium size caves worth exploring.

The most interesting caves in the TCI are found on Middle and East Caicos. The caves on Middle Caicos are visited fairly regularly by day trippers from Providenciales and are very impressive with wet and dry portions, high ceilings and countless stalacites and stalagmites. The ones on East Caicos, which are remote and difficult to find, are equally as impressive but rarely visted at all....
